Packs and absorbs in one pair.

Neptune boxer briefs with a packing pouch and a built-in absorbent layer for light to moderate flow.

  • You don't have to layer or pick one over the other.
  • The pouch holds your packer or foam insert in place from your desk to the gym.
  • The inner absorbent layer handles light to moderate flow all day without visible bulk.
  • Soft, breathable cotton-spandex, the same as all Cake Bandit underwear.
  • Also great for bike rides (the extra layer cushions you), sweaty gym sessions, incontinence support, and intimate wear.

Works with the #1 Trans Packer, the My Buddy 4", and the My Buddy 5".

The absorbent layer works standing, sitting, and on the move, as long as the waistband sits in its low-rise spot on your hips. Sleeping in them? Pull the back of the waistband a little higher than usual for full coverage lying down. We don't recommend sleeping on your stomach in them.

Cake Bandit sits low, on your hips, not your waist. Measure around the widest part of your hips and seat. Between sizes? Size down if you like a snug fit or pack heavy. The absorbent layer gives Neptune a little more structure than other Cake Bandit styles. Underwear is final sale, so measure before you order.

Pretty decent

These are the only period/absorption boxers I found that are not too expensive, are made mostly of cotton, and are made for those looking for actual masculine period boxers, so I decided to get them, and I'd say they're pretty decent, though I don't have much to compare them to.
They're a bit chunky of course (though not unreasonably chunky), and the absorption pad is not always the most comfortable, especially if it's a size down from what one usually wears, but they are more comfortable than I expected them to be, and certainly more comfortable than wearing a disposable pad.
Its ability to absorb is alright, but not entirely reliable. While wearing this, blood has still managed to end up on my pants, though very lightly and only on the inside, but to those with heavier periods, I would be careful. Also, the pad doesn't extend enough to the front, and so one would end up bleeding through it. Though a packer being in the way in the pouch can block most of this, at least.
For quality, I can't say for absolute certain since I have only been wearing these for a few days, but they at least don't seem flimsy or fragile.
There are some reviews only mentioning that it's too small or too large, and I'll say that I am a size 28-29 or so and got both the x-small and the small, both fit me, with the small being more comfortable.
As of writing this, the description for these do not mention the percentages of cotton and spandex, so I'll say here that the tag reads ''92% cotton, 8% spandex".

Didn’t fit well to small

The cut is a weird fit and the absorption isnt lines up correctly. It’s starts too far back to be useful (at least for me) and that caused issues with wearing them

Bodies are all different, and absorbent panel placement really matters. We're sorry this one didn't line up for you. We are working on a redesign to offer more coverage. Please reach out to us directly. We'd like to hear more and help if we can. Auston at TGS
