What You're Cleaning
Can I use silicone lube with silicone toys?
No — silicone-based lube degrades silicone toy surfaces over time, causing them to become sticky, porous, and unusable. All lubes in this collection are water-based and safe with silicone. If you're unsure what your toy is made of, water-based is always the safe choice.
Do I need to clean TPR packers differently than silicone?
Yes. TPR and elastomer packers are porous — they require cleaning after every wear to prevent bacteria buildup. Wash with warm water and mild soap or toy cleaner, pat dry, then dust with Packer Renewing Powder before storing. Never boil a TPR packer — heat permanently damages the material. Silicone packers and toys are non-porous and can be boiled or run through the dishwasher.
How often should I use Packer Renewing Powder?
After every wash, before storage. The powder restores the smooth surface of TPR and elastomer and prevents the material from breaking down prematurely. It also keeps your packer from sticking to the inside of your underwear or pouch.
