What's the difference between a sport binder and a regular binder?
Regular chest binders use rigid compression panels that restrict breathing — safe for daily wear but not for exercise or swimming. Sports Bro sport binders use athletic compression fabric that flattens the chest while allowing full range of motion and deep breathing. How does binding tape work in water?
TGS Binding Tape is waterproof and holds through swimming when applied to dry skin. Apply at least 30 minutes before water exposure to allow full adhesion. Remove slowly with oil or adhesive remover — never rip. Avoid applying over broken or irritated skin. Available in 3"–6" widths — wider tape provides more coverage and flatter result. Do the rash guards provide chest compression?
Rash guards provide light to moderate compression but are not binding-grade. They're best layered over a Sports Bro sport binder or binding tape for a flat chest, or worn alone for minimal coverage and sun protection. Most styles are UPF-rated.
