Shot day, a lot less scary.

A reusable, spring-loaded auto-injector that puts the needle in for you. For Sub-Q shots only.

  1. Draw your medication into a compatible syringe as usual.
  2. Load the syringe into the Inject-Ease.
  3. Place the tip flat and flush against your injection site.
  4. Press the button. The needle goes in on its own.
  5. Push the plunger at your own pace to inject.
  6. Remove the device and throw away the syringe safely.

For most people, the hardest part of a shot is slowly pushing the needle into your own skin. The spring does that part in an instant, at the same depth every time, so there's no wind-up. It's a big help with needle anxiety, limited dexterity, or doing your shots alone.

It's built for one-handed use, so you can reach your belly and thighs without help. Standard Sub-Q sites are the belly (at least 2" from the navel), outer thigh, and back of the upper arm. Rotate your sites to avoid scar tissue buildup.

It works for Sub-Q testosterone, insulin, blood thinners, fertility medications, and other Sub-Q prescriptions. See the instructions (PDF).

Spec Details
Needle 25–26 gauge, 5/8" (16 mm) long
Syringe 1 mL Slip Tip only

Injection type Subcutaneous (Sub-Q) only. Not for intramuscular (IM) shots.
Reusable Yes. Only the syringe and needle are single-use.
Made by AmbiMedInc.

Slip Tip or Luer-Lock? Slip Tip syringes have a smooth tapered end, and the needle slides straight on. Luer-Lock syringes have a threaded twist-on connector. If you're not sure which your pharmacy gives you, check the packaging or ask before you order. Most Sub-Q testosterone routines use 1 mL syringes, and most pharmacies carry Slip Tip.

In the box:

  • 1 Sub-Q Inject-Ease device
  • 1 adaptor tip for standard 1 mL syringes
  • 1 extra-large spacer, for longer or non-standard needle sizes
  • 1 smaller spacer

Syringes and needles aren't included.

The Inject-Ease is for subcutaneous injections only. Always follow your prescriber's guidance for injection technique, dosage, and site rotation.

Can I use it for IM testosterone? No. IM shots usually use 1"–1.5" needles at 21–23 gauge, which don't fit. If you're on IM and want to try an auto-injector, talk with your prescriber about whether switching to Sub-Q is right for you.

Is Sub-Q testosterone right for me? It's getting more common. Research shows it gives similar testosterone levels and hormone stability to IM, often with less soreness at the injection site. If it fits you depends on your formulation, concentration, and your prescriber. Talk with your doctor before changing how you inject.

How long does it last? It's made to be reused for years. The device never touches the needle or medication, so it stays clean. Wipe the outside with an alcohol wipe between uses. Replace it if the spring feels weaker or the button stops firing every time.

Very helpful for shot anxiety, make sure you have the right syringe type

I highly recommend this product for anyone like me who struggles with the mental block of giving themselves shots. I've found it slightly awkward to use sometimes, but I am now able to reliably give myself my shot without any help. My only note/criticism is that I wish it were clearer that the device only works with slip tip syringes (I have only ever used Luer-Lock ones before, and I nearly broke the device trying to get them to fit). I ended up ordering a bulk box of slip syringes online, and those have worked well. All of this being said, it really has been a game changer to be able to give myself shots again.

It works

I inject subcutaneously. This made pinning very easy, despite my fear of needles. I use a 27g 1/2 inch needle, and I laughed during my first use because I literally did not feel a thing.

Huge Help

Transfemme here! I was definitely skeptical and unsure about this, but really wanted to try an autoinjector. My needle anxiety is awful. I'm happy to say, it kind of rules.

I saw a lot of comments about syringes/needles not being compatible with this, so I actually wound up calling Ambimed's customer service line to ask about it LOL and they were super helpful and assured me that the inject-ease model that TG Supply sells already has the proper setup inside the package and even includes some spacers. I like literally told them what syringes I had and they confirmed for me. AmbiMed's customer service number is 8314751765 if you want to triple check with them before buying.

Also! Watch the YouTube video TG Supply posted. I followed along with it while I was learning to use the injector and it was super useful.

I kind of love this and it really really helps. I actually don't fear shot day anymore! Try itttttt

Aw man, I now have the XYOSTED, So I gave this to my boyfriend and he uses it but if you don’t have insurance that can cover XYOSTED this thing is awesome and easy to use as well.

Fantastic

I no longer have anxiety giving myself my T shots. This has been the best investment I’ve made so far in my transition. Can’t recommend it enough!
