The Compact Sport STP is Number One Laboratory's low-bulk version of their Model D. Same shaft, same head — smaller balls, shorter cup, significantly reduced overall bulk. If the standard Number One STP feels too large for your frame or your pants, the Sport is the trimmed-down alternative that keeps the parts that matter and cuts the rest.

The tradeoff worth knowing upfront: the shorter receptacle cup requires more precise positioning than a deeper-cupped STP.
