I've tried using a cheaper STP before, before I started HRT, but after a hell of a snafu at home, I figured STPs just weren't for me and resolved to just pee sitting down for the rest of my life. (So technically, this is my 2nd STP, but the first one is an outlier and shouldn't be counted.) After I started transitioning, however, bottom dysphoria hit me like a truck and packing became an absolute must for me. I'm at a point where I pass enough to use the men's room with no confrontations, but I am immediately overcome with anxiety and dysphoria when I have to use the bathroom at work and I have to sit down to pee (not to mention men's bathrooms can be.... pretty gross, to say the least). I am also constantly afraid that my packer will slip out of my underwear and go scampering across the floor like a frightened weasel.
But anyway, here we are, with two pairs of Cake Bandit Packing Boxer Briefs and the Freely STP... and I am in love!
It all came with discreet packaging, so if you're worried about that, worry no more! The packer itself is super soft, and already feels like it's been powdered straight out of the bag. It's detailed, well made and looks realistic enough both from a distance and while you're looking down at it in the bathroom. My fiance honestly can't stop touching it, she absolutely loves how soft it is. It warms up to the body quickly and feels pretty natural whether you pack up or down. (HINT: The Cake Bandit underwear is SO SOFT and is great to pack with, even if you dont use this specific STP. Definitely worth the investment.)
However, my first use of this didn't go very well. My main issue is that I'm a wider set short king (5'2", 210 lbs, mostly chunky but definitely have some muscle too), and I didn't realize that it's recommended to use the Freely XL if you're like me and are on the bigger side. Luckily I was in the shower already, but some pee did leak from the back. Then again, I was holding it in at work so that I could use the STP when I got home, so definitely practice controlling your flow and don't hold it in all day like I did.
That said, my 2nd use of it in the shower went without a hitch! A quick shake or tip of it when you're done, just to be sure that the STP is entirely empty, and you're good to go! Mostly, it all comes down to practice. Don't go out using this thing straight away if you've never used an STP before.
Knowing what I know now, I am DEFINITELY going to buy the XL, but this STP is going to be perfect practice for me in the meantime. Amazing quality, awesome company, and definitely worth the money. If you're like me and have some pretty terrible bottom dysphoria, get this STP. You won't regret it! :)
