This is my first STP/Packer combo I have ever used. Before this, I was a long adherent to pinning a packer pouch under the waistband of my boxer briefs, and have used STP devices before, but only the silicone funnel ones that are heavily marketed for active women on the go. The pinned pouch deal is great, except for a few things. 1, I still needed a separate STP device. 2, It would create issues with the fit of my pants, dragging the waistband downward, and 3, sometimes the pin would come undone, which is a total catastrophe waiting to happen.
So, after some light researching online, I decided on the STP freely in 01- the lightest tone, along with a Cake Bandit harness in black, in XL. (For reference I am 5’5”, approximately 195 lb).
The STP Freely is a beautifully made packer and it fits well into the Cake Bandit harness. The silicone is high quality and thick. The urethral hole is large- but not ridiculously so. There is a testicular area which doubles as the main cup of the funnel. The rim of the funnel is thick and wide, allowing for a pretty darn big seal around your existing… er… plumbing. The testicular area is made of the same thick, high quality silicone. It’s thick enough to not collapse when you’re in action, but it’s also squeezable and flexible, which comes in handy! I must note, it’s not thick enough to be ideal for penetrating a partner.
I’m still a novice at STP/packer combo life, and I’m still practicing in the tub, making adjustments to the fit, training myself to control my flow better, and learning the best funnel emptying techniques (squeezing my balls seems to be the winning technique so far! Maybe not scientifically accurate, but it does make for a laugh).
I’m also still working on adjusting it in my pants. I didn’t really have to think about this with the old tried & true limpy packer, but if I don’t position myself correctly, I can look quite a bit excited with the Freely. Fortunately, it’s not too obscene.
With each time I use the Freely, I get better at it. It certainly gives me a great amount of euphoria to be able to stand to pee. While the low price in comparison to others on the market might seem like a red flag for those looking for a legitimate, functional prosthesis, please don’t worry. This STP does a great job balancing form, function, quality, & cost- a real saving grace for trans guys who might face financial barriers. To me, it’s more than just a novelty item. It has the look, feel, and function of a decent prosthetic.
It’s worth a try! Don’t forget the cake bandit harness.
